The following writing-related resource links are an accumulated collection of resource links that have been featured at some point in my Writing Help Central Update Newsletter and/or The Write Place Blog.

From time-to-time, I mention specific writing-related resource sites in my newsletter and/or Blog. Periodically those new links are added to this collection. They are organized alphabetically, by category heading.

Most of their links are to writing centers and resources at other academic institutions. The site covers everything from letter and resume writing, to grammar and style, as well as citation formats (i.e. APA, MLA). Definitely worth checking out.

Dialect Interpreter

"Fast-English-Help" is Dean Cracknell's new site that offers one-stop English language help. Designed primarily for non-native speakers of English, particularly those from Asia, fast-english-help.com offers proofreading and editing of written English documents, as well as help with English grammar and conversation practice. In addition, this excellent site also offers a variety of other resources to help you learn, write or speak English. A great site for anyone needing basic English language assistance.

E-Mails - Doing It Right

"E-mail For Newbies" is the brainchild of co-authors Joe Robson and Tom Glander of the Newbie Club. ("Newbie" is the term widely used for an Internet-beginner). Most of us learned how to send basic e-mails using "hunt and peck" experimentation but we were never shown the ins-and-outs of our e-mail programs or the proper e-mail protocols. It's a shame really, because there is so much more that can be done with e-mail programs and e-mail communication in general that most people just don't know about. Joe and Tom wrote "E-mail for Newbies" to tell you what e-mail is really all about!
