Business Letter Format

When I did my research into business letter formats for my Instant Business Letter Kit I discovered at least a dozen different recommended letter styles. Of course some of those were very similar, but there were sufficient dissimilarities to make them appear somewhat different.

I also discovered during my research that some texts and Web sites called what appeared to be the same letter format, different names. Very confusing; to say the least. So, for my letter writing kits I have reduced those dozen formats down to five.

Business letter formats include: basic-block style, semi-block style, full-block format, square-block style, and simplified letter format.

Although my Instant Business Letter Kit includes fully-formatted examples of all five (5) of those letter formats, I am only going to present one here - the Full-Block style or format. Here is that letter format as presented in my writing kit:
