Business Forms and Templates

In addition to the many typical business letters that are used on day-to-day business, there are numerous generic business forms and templates that most businesses, both large and small, use to conduct their daily operations.

Over the years, I have compiled a collection of typical business forms and templates that I have used in one or more of my own business operations. I have decided to provide my subscribers with real-life samples of some of the more commonly used forms and templates so that they don’t have to start from a blank page.

Each sample form or template is preceded by a brief definition and explanation as to why and how it is used. Accordingly, below are links to definitions and samples of 25 of the most commonly used business forms and templates:

The documents listed above are mostly of the general type that a business needs to perform its day-to-day operations; they are therefore more of the facilitation type of document rather than the reporting type.

I have deliberately NOT included standard accounting reports such as Balance Sheets and Operating Statements here. These are very specialized financial reports that will vary significantly from one business to another depending on many factors specific to a particular business situation. For “accounting reports” I strongly recommend that you hire an accountant and/or buy some accounting software that will produce the statements you need.

All of the above forms and templates come with the Forms and Templates Bonus Book that is included with my Instant Business Letter Kit. They can be downloaded straight into your word processing program (MS-Word or equivalent) for quick and easy revision and customization.
